This is a very basic, on-land class and no prior fishing experience is necessary! We will discuss the parts and purpose of the fly rod, reel, and lines. Once we are familiar with the equipment, we will work on casting on land (forward cast, roll cast, side cast), and practice the most frequently used knots (double surgeons, improved clinch, loop to loop). This is a small class with no more than eight people so that you can benefit from 1:1 instruction and have a more personal experience. Plus you get to learn at a fantastic Fort Collins Brewery and enjoy a beer (one beverage included with the cost of the clinic)!
